Epson’s latest evolution in home printing
Suitably named Small-in-One this printer features a 39 percent reduced volume . It is accompanied by Epson’s new mobile wireless printing service, Epson Connect, and automatic Wi-Fi set-up .
The Epson Stylus SX445W is the first to be released from the Small-in-One range, offering cost-effective printing with the added benefit of Wi-Fi connectivity and PC-free printing with smart-navigation touch-panel technology.
A new design coupled with an ultra-compact volume means this printer complements any modern home environment without taking up too much space. And with Epson’s mobile printing service, Epson Connect, offering fantastic flexibility and freedom, users are able to quickly and easily print their favourite photos and documents wirelessly from smartphones and tablet PCs anywhere in the home.
The automatic Wi-Fi set-up makes configuring laptops and computers to print wirelessly extremely easy. Users don’t need to know their network settings or connect with a USB cable, this printer automatically finds the relevant connection settings in order to configure itself. Multiple users then have the freedom to print, scan and copy quickly and efficiently from anywhere in the home.
“This first printer in our new Small-in-One range highlights Epson’s commitment to providing home users more flexibility and freedom with their home printing while offering affordable running costs,” says Neil Wilson, business manager, consumer products at Epson UK. “Individual inks, for example, offer up to a 34 percent ink saving compared to competitors’ combined ink cartridges, meaning home users only need to replace colours used.”
The Epson Stylus SX445W is available from September and will be priced at £99.99
